Anne Meyer, President, Chair, Governance Committee
​Anne holds an MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Southern New Hampshire University and spent over 20 years in global supply chain management before relocating to Florida in 2021 with Joe Meyer, her husband of 23 years. Anne and Joe share a love of world travel and big dog rescue. Their current companions, Bobo (13) and Remy (4), remain cherished members of the family.

Born and raised in Tianjin, China, Anne is now deeply rooted in Southwest Florida and actively engaged in community service. She is a proud graduate of Leadership Collier Class of 2026 and has volunteered with several nonprofit organizations across the region. Anne previously served as Vice President of the SWFCA, supporting cultural programs and community engagement initiatives. She is the founder of Anne Meyer Inc., a fashion designer and a photographer, bringing creativity and a passion for cultural connection into all that she does.

Susie Kwok, Vice President, Chair, Fundraising Committee
Born and raised in New York City. Grew up under the watchful eyes of a Minister and a Missionary. Spent elementary school, middle school, and high school years in Richmond, Virginia. Graduated from Seattle University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Spend some time in the West Coast from 1992-1997. Moved back to New York with a daughter in tow for a new start. Met and married my wonderful husband, Bill. Moved to Florida in 2013. Currently designing Jewelry and active in her church. Joined the SWFCA in April of 2025. Also known and "The Jill of All Trades and the Master of None."

Wendy Kuo, Treasurer, Chair, Finance Committee and Food & Beverage Committee
Wendy was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan and immigrated to San Paulo, Brazil with family when she was 12 years old and moved to Philadelphia, PA when she was 18. She finished senior year of high school at Hallahan Girl High and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Computer Information Science from Temple University.  She moved to Florida in 1985 and worked in the banking and accounting field.  Now she is working for an audiologist as a staff accountant.  She is married to Simon Kwan and has one daughter who works at Moffitt Cancer Center and lives in Tampa.

Jim Wolff, SWFCA Secretary, Chair, Programs & Impact Committee and Youth & Education Committee
Happily retired in Bonita Springs, Jim holds an A.S. in Civil Engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Studies, and pursued a Master’s degree in IT Resource Management at Webster University. He served honorably in the United States Air Force before beginning his career as a Fluids Design Engineer at Kennedy Space Center, where he worked for more than a decade. He later transitioned into a distinguished 35-year career as an IT Systems Engineer. A dedicated community leader, Jim previously served as Secretary of the SWFCA Board, contributing his expertise and organizational leadership. Today, he owns and manages Shangri La Farm and Gardens from his home in Bonita Springs, specializing in edible garden plants and fruit-bearing plants and trees.

Yi Liu, Board Director, Chair, Culture & Family Committee

Yi Liu is a graduate of Nanjing Forestry University, where she earned a degree in Chemical Engineering. She has lived in the United States for over 30 years, with experience residing in Alabama, Washington State, and Georgia, and is currently based in Florida.

Yi currently serves as a board member of the Southwest Florida Chinese Association. Giving back to the community has always been important to her, and she is honored to dedicate her time and energy to supporting the Chinese community in Southwest Florida. Through her involvement, she hopes to assist those in need, strengthen community connections, and help foster a warmer, more caring, and more inclusive community for all.

​​Beth Yang, Board Director, Chair, Communications & Outreach Committee
Beth is a seasoned urban and regional planning professional with nearly 30 years of dedicated service to Collier County Government. Her unique international perspective was shaped early on when she earned her Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Sichuan International University in China. She later relocated to the United States, where she pursued graduate studies, earning a Master's degree in Political Science from Florida State University and a second Master's degree from the University of Florida, becoming a Certified Urban and Regional Planner in the U. S along the way.
​

For almost three decades, Beth has applied her expertise to the growth and development of Collier County, contributing her skills to the community she serves. Her commitment to community governance extends to her role as Secretary of the HOA Board for the Korwin Apartments of Naples, helping the neighborhood continue to thrive. Outside of work, she enjoys a full life in Naples with her husband, their two daughters, and their cat. A passionate traveler, she loves exploring new destinations and savoring all kinds of delicious Chinese cuisine. When at home, she finds peace and tranquility in her backyard tending to her beautiful koi fish.

Christina Mundy, Board Director, Fundraising Committee
Christina was born and raised in Heilongjiang Province, China, and graduated from an agricultural college. She moved to Florida in 2007 and is the proud mother of a 17-year-old son. A passionate advocate for Chinese culture, Christina discovered her love for singing at a young age and later developed a deep dedication to Peking Opera and Huangmei Opera. Completely self-taught, she has volunteered since 2015, performing at cultural events and festivals throughout Southwest Florida. Known for her authenticity and attention to detail, she prepares her own costumes and makeup to honor these traditional art forms. Beyond the stage, Christina enjoys gardening, growing vegetables and herbs, and making traditional moon cakes each year to share with the community. She has worked at Publix since 2023 and is recognized for her dedication and warm spirit.

Shishi Li Cornell, Board Director, Fundraising Committee
​Shishi is a financial professional and community advocate dedicated to empowering under-served communities through education and connection. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Florida Gulf Coast University and is currently a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual, a Fortune 500 company. As the first Chinese financial representative hired by the firm in South Florida, she brings a culturally informed approach to financial planning, helping individuals and families navigate long-term security, insurance, and wealth preservation. Her work is rooted in a deep understanding of the values of family legacy, trust, and inter-generational support within the Chinese and broader immigrant communities.

​In addition to her professional expertise, Shishi brings strong leadership, communication, and community engagement skills. With experience in team management and volunteer service at the Cape Coral Caring Center, she is passionate about outreach, volunteer coordination, and creating meaningful community experiences. She is committed to advancing financial education initiatives and strengthening connections within the community to support lasting impact.

Ann is a dedicated professional educator with 30 years of experience who holds a Ph.D. in Education. Committed to fostering academic growth and cultural enrichment for all learners, she channels her deep expertise into leading the Youth & Education Committee for the Southwest Florida Chinese Association. Ann is passionate about helping young people explore Chinese culture and language, guiding them to expand their horizons and appreciate diversity in the community. Outside of her leadership roles, she is an avid world traveler and a passionate gardener. Whether she is harvesting fresh produce or helping young minds grow and expand their vision, Ann finds her greatest fulfillment in nurturing growth and cultivation in all aspects of life.​​

May Reidy, Board Director, Fundraising Committee
​May has been a registered nurse for 30 years, with experience in ICU, Emergency Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, and Allergy. A graduate of Wayne State University, she grew up as a Chinese restaurant kid in small-town Michigan during the 1980s, an experience that shaped her strong work ethic and appreciation for her cultural heritage. She has lived in Southwest Florida since 2005 and currently works alongside her husband of 22 years, Patrick, an ENT physician who has served the community for more than 20 years.
​
May has been actively involved in school and community volunteer work, serving as PTO Treasurer at both the elementary and middle school levels while helping coordinate fundraisers, events, and community outreach efforts. As an American-born Chinese parent of three teenagers, she values opportunities to preserve and share Chinese culture with future generations. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, boating, fishing, and all things Harry Potter, and looks forward to supporting SWFCA's mission in any way she can.

Liping Wei, Finance Committee
Liping is originally from Hangzhou, China, and moved to Florida with her younger son in 2025. With a degree in Finance, she built a successful 15-year career in financial management, advancing from entry-level positions to Finance Manager and gaining extensive experience in accounting, budgeting, and organizational operations. During this time, she also dedicated five years to supporting a nonprofit organization in Hangzhou, reflecting her longstanding commitment to community service.

Driven by a desire to be more involved in her child’s education and daily life, Liping transitioned into the education field, where she has worked in mathematics tutoring and after-school enrichment programs. Through her close interactions with students and families, she developed a deeper understanding of the academic, social, and emotional challenges that many children face today. Passionate about helping others, Liping actively participates in and organizes community initiatives that support families and promote meaningful parent-child communication. She believes that strong communities are built through compassion, connection, and service, and she is committed to using her experience and skills to make a positive difference wherever she can. Liping hopes to continue supporting children, families, and the broader community by creating opportunities for learning, growth, and mutual understanding.

Huijuan Xu, Youth & Education Committee​
​Huijuan Xu was born in Changsha and raised in Nanchang, began her career as a mechanical technician, and later earned a medical degree from Suzhou University and an M.S. in Biostatistics from Fudan University. After coming to the U.S. as a visiting scholar in 1989, she completed an M.P.H. at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and went on to spend over 30 years specializing in statistical analysis for clinical trials in neurology and immunology, retiring from Biogen in 2026. She and her husband, Shanchuan—whom she met in Suzhou—raised two sons in the Boston area before settling in Cape Coral in 2024. An active church choir member since 2010, she enjoys playing piano and traveling the world with her husband.​

​Ian Craig, Youth & Education Committee
Ian was born and raised in Minnesota and relocated to Florida in 2023. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in 2025. Ian has a passion for traveling and enjoys exploring different cultures and perspectives from around the world. Through his experiences in education and international travel, he has developed a strong appreciation for cultural diversity and community engagement. As a member of the Southwest Florida Chinese Association, Ian hopes to help foster cultural connections, encourage community involvement, and bring creativity and fresh ideas that celebrate and strengthen the rich cultural heritage of the community.

​​​Jerry Ma, Founding Member and Past President
Jerry Ma is a retired professional engineer with Florida State Health Department after thirty years of services and is living in Estero. He has a BS degree of Chemical Engineering from San Jose State University and a MS degree in Public Administration from FGCU and has been volunteer in establishing SWFCA since 1993. He is from Macau and graduated from Hong Kong Baptist College.

​​​Colin Feng, Past President  
Dr. Colin Feng was born and raised in China. After graduating from Xian Jiao Tong University in Business Management, he earned both his MA and PhD in Economics from The Ohio State University. Dr. Feng is a certified financial planner with Equitable Advisors, LLC. He has been selected as Southwest Florida Five Star Wealth Manager every year since 2012 by Gulf Shore Magazine and also specializes in life, disability, and long-term care insurance. Dr. Feng taught Economics at Florida Southwestern State Community College. He is very active in the local community and has participated in many non-profit organizations in Southwest Florida. He is a member of the South Fort Myers Rotary Club and is the past president of the Southwest Florida Chinese Association, the Naples Asian Professionals Association, and the Kiwanis Club of San Carlos Park-Estero.

​Jingjing Wu, Past President

​Jingjing Wu is a dedicated cultural educator and media professional whose work bridges traditional arts, education, and community storytelling. Originally from China, she holds advanced training in intangible cultural heritage from Shenyang Normal University and is recognized as a municipal-level inheritor of the traditional art of paper cutting. She is also certified in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language through the Beijing Center For The Promotion of Chinese Overseas. Jingjing served as a newspaper text editor and hosted a radio program for senior audiences. Guided by her belief that art transcends borders and cultures thrive through harmony, she is committed to sharing and preserving traditional Chinese paper cutting. Outside of her cultural work, she enjoys swimming, sports, cycling, playing the guzheng, and staying active in the community.

​Judy Wright, Past President
Judy Wright was born and raised in New York City and moved to Naples, Florida in 1987. She served as president of the SWFL Association of Legal Administrators and the SWFL Chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals and served on the board of the Naples Asian Professionals Association and the Asian Professionals Association of Southwest Florida. She is also the founder and past coordinator of AsiaFest, a cultural festival in Southwest Florida. Judy attended Carson-Newman College, a Christian college in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She has 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and enjoys volunteering her time with non-profits, horseback riding and martial arts.

​Liwen Williams, Past President, Chair, Advisory Board

​Liwen grew up in Formosa Taiwan, graduated from Southern Taiwan University of Technology in 2002, with honors in her Bachelor's degree in English. With scholarship, she came to the Untied State as an exchange student for a year, then with another scholarship, she finished up the second year and earned her Master's Degree in Communication with honors from Pittsburg State University. She moved to Naples, FL in 2009 with her husband Matthew.  She is an entrepreneur and a health advocate. She has two young children, a son and a daughter. A member of Southwest Florida Chinese Association. Fluent in Mandarin.
